What Happens if My Facebook Agency Account Gets Banned?

Short answer

What happens if my Facebook agency account gets banned? You do not appeal it yourself because you do not own it: the provider replaces it, and how much you lose depends on whether one ad account went down or the whole Business Manager.

Timeline showing an ad account going down, a same-day replacement being issued, and spending limits back above 10k a day within a week, with a note that replacements ramp and are slower during Meta's periodic asset scans
Meta's own review queue runs from a few hours to thirty days. A replacement does not.

One ad account, or the whole Business Manager

A single disabled ad account is contained. You lose that account and what was running in it, and the rest carries on.

A Business Manager restriction is the bad one. It can take every ad account, page and pixel inside that Business Manager down at the same time.

You do not appeal it, your provider does

You are advertising in an account you do not own, so the appeal is not yours to file. That is a real trade-off, and what you get for it is not sitting in a self-serve queue.

Meta's own reviews run from a few hours to thirty days. Permanent bans are rarely reversed that way.

How long a replacement actually takes

In our experience replacement is normally same day, across every asset type. Ours are unlimited and cost nothing extra.

A replacement ramps rather than opening at full capacity, and is usually back to 10k+ a day within a week. It is slower during the asset scans Meta runs a few times a year, when moving assets between Business Managers can get them disabled.

What you keep

Your pixel history depends entirely on which Business Manager holds it, because a pixel cannot be moved between them. That is why the host BM on Scale never runs ads, and why you keep it even if you stop using us.

The Business Manager you get does not own the ad accounts

They are shared into it, so it is less exposed than a Business Manager running everything itself.

If it does go down we give you access to another one and move the ad accounts across. Pixels cannot be moved that way, which is why they sit in the host BM.
